Street Resealing Project – Important Information
Street resealing is scheduled to begin Monday, July 14 and continue through Saturday, July 26. Please note that this schedule may change or be extended due to the weather.
- See below for the detailed schedule and refer to the attached map and legend.
- The orange phase must be completed first, and the green phase must be completed last, even if there are weather delays.
- We’ll share any updates to the schedule as soon as we receive them.
Asphalt Repairs (Starting July 9)
Asphalt repairs will begin on Tuesday, July 9. Most of the work will take place on the roadways, except for one parking space on Barnard Court.
What You Need to Know and Do
- Share the schedule with anyone coming to your home: guests, contractors, home healthcare workers, nannies, cleaners, moving vans, etc. as they will not have access to closed streets.
- Any vehicles larger than a car or SUV, such as trucks or vans, will not be able to drive on the asphalt until the third day after resealing. (Example: If resealing is done on July 14, no large vehicles should drive on that section until July 17.) Consider this when scheduling deliveries (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, Chewy, newspaper, etc.).
Service Adjustments
- Trash/recycling, landscaping, delivery trucks, and summer school buses (if applicable) will have adjusted routes on affected days.
- Traffic flow in and out of the community will change when work is done at the Stonehurst Drive entrance. Detour and exit signs will be posted.
We’ll send more details on these temporary changes soon.
Parking Tips
- Each resealing phase is separate, so temporary parking should be available in unaffected areas.
- If possible, please park extra or unused vehicles at a friend’s or family member’s home outside the neighborhood during the project to allow more available parking spaces for residents.
Reminder
This resealing project is a joint effort between Stonehurst HOA and Stonehurst IV HOA.
- When Stonehurst IV begins work on July 23, parking restrictions along Stonehurst Drive will be lifted so residents can use it for overflow parking.
Thank you for your cooperation and help in making this project go smoothly!
